Responsibilities:
Forklift experience, especially loading and unloading non-uniform material and knowledge of weight distribution when loading is a plus, as is experience in the recycling industry.
- Learning Kripke culture
- Learning and adhering to safety protocols
- Working with your hands and operating hand and air-powered tools
- Repetitive lifting of 25-75 lbs.
- Learning the recycling process
- Learning our processes and attention to the details
- Willingness to operate forklift and Bobcat
- Desire to work with others to achieve goals
- Basic computer skills to utilize the inventory and processing system
- Ability to take coaching, instruction, and constructive criticism
- Identify areas to optimize our efficiencies
- Desire to keep a clean and organized workspace

- Position is Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with some overtime (depending on the workload) during the week and on Saturday

Full job description
Overview Description
- Cash handling and customer service experience a plus. We will train other responsibilities.
- Creating and cashing out retail transactions
- Directing inbound and outbound trucks for Kripke Metal Processing
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Following all safe work procedures and practices
- Managing scale and vehicle flow of KMP in/out bound and retail customers
- Ensuring process for KMP loads and retail are followed
- Professional, clear communication to lift drivers, retail operators, process captains, managers, traders, process captains and customers, including telephone and radio
- Ensuring truck scale radiation tests are complete, documented and filed
- Handling, counting and reconcile of daily cash and drawer
- General cleaning and organizing of scale office and scale office lockers
- Completing paperwork (hard and digital)
- Reporting any equipment, building, property, and vehicle incidents or damage
Hours: Mon-Thursday 11 a.m. -2 p.m. / Friday 12 – 4 p.m.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years previous forklift experience
- Productive driver techniques and protocols
- Experience with manual digital placement/inventory control
- Experience loading and unloading non-uniform material
- Knowledge of weight distribution when loading
